Su e zo per i ponti (April)

SU E ZO PER I PONTI ("up and down the bridges") is a non-competitive walk organised in Venice each year between March and April and open to everyone, young and not-so-young alike.  

The walk takes place along a number of routes, different each year, and everyone can choose the one most appropriate to his or her capabilities.

Alleyways, small and large squares and bridges are the destination for thousands of people eager to have fun in company, following the routes from Piazza San Marco to the most characteristic points of the city.

Yet another opportunity for Venetians to live a festive Venice and enjoy each others' company.  On reaching Piazza San Marco, everyone receives a medal.
