Venice Biennial
The VENICE BIENNIAL started life in 1895 with the aim of stimulating and promoting international artistic activity. It is one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world.
Based in the Castello Gardens near the Venice Arsenal and in palazzi and theatres made available by Venice City Council, it organises multi-disciplinary contemporary art exhibitions at a very high level.
International film festival (annual) at the Palazzo del Cinema at Lido di Venezia and the Palazzo del Casinò.
International Art Exhibition (biennial) at the Castello Gardens and Venice Arsenal.
International Architectural Exhibition (annual) at the Castello Gardens and Venice Arsenal.
Festival of Music and Theatre, the Teatro alle Tese and the Teatro Piccolo Arsenale.
