Venice's most famous art gallery, the ACCADEMIA, is housed in the Scuola della Carità, one of the city's largest corporation buildings.  The Gallery also includes the Gothic church of Santa Maria della Carita’ and the monastery of the Canons Regular of the Lateran, constructed by Palladium.

The museum contains the largest collection of paintings by the greatest Venetian and Veneto artists: Carpaccio, Tiepolo, Tintoretto, Bellini, Veronese, Giorgione, Titian, Canaletto, Longhi, Bellotto, Guardi etc.
